trainer
KozPawz is a one
on one training & walking service owned by Sacha Kozlow. Sacha
is a Certified Trainer who has spent the majority of her adult
life working with dogs as well as owning six of her own rescued
"no hope" dogs. She started working with dogs as a volunteer
helping several Humane Societies across the country care for and
exercise the dogs.
She then attended both the Master Trainer in Obedience &
Behavior course of study as well as the Police K9 Trainer course
of study at North State K9 Academy of Tarheel Canine Training,
Inc. She studied pet obedience training, behavior modification,
as well as police patrol, scent discrimination, trailing,
narcotics detection, explosive detection, cadaver recovery and
obedience training as it pertains to police dog training and pet
dog training.
She was responsible for preparing police dogs in obedience
training, and participated in every stage of training of a
number of dual-purpose police K9s, narcotics detection K9s,
explosive detection K9s, search and rescue dogs and personal
protection dogs.
As well as working dogs, Sacha was responsible for training a
number of pet dogs in on and off leash training, working with
Maltese to Mastiffs and nearly everything in-between. From
there she went on to administer and supervise training programs
for animal rescue organizations in South Africa and Greece.
After returning to the states, Sacha discovered beautiful Austin,
Texas, the most dog friendly city in the country, where she intends
to call home for good.
